Welcome
Message
from the Vice-Chancellor
Since its inaugural year in 1975 Murdoch University staff, students and
alumni have made a tremendous impact on our community, both locally
and globally. We have done so through a commitment to excellence in
teaching and research within an international context.
Success is not achieved in isolation and Murdoch has built and is strengthening
links with government, community, industry and business that support
our academic and research programs.
The Murdoch University Foundation has been established to provide a
vehicle for the building of an endowment that will allow Murdoch to
make a difference by contributing to the advancement of learning and
knowledge, both now and in the future.
All contributions to the Murdoch University Foundation enhance our
ability to meet the challenges of the future. They open the way to the
knowledge and skills that quality tertiary education can deliver for
all students, whatever their background.
We welcome your support; either through financial support, volunteering
time and talent or giving goods in kind. In addition to general support
for the University's activities, you may also direct a contribution
towards a particular area of research or endeavour.
On behalf of the University community, I want to thank you for your
support, in all its forms, for the future of tertiary education in Western
Australia.
Professor John Yovich
Chair, Murdoch University Foundation
